Snow Apples - Jan 7 & 8
On Friday evening it started to snow! In the South, when snow is predicted everyone runs to the grocery store to get these items: Bread, Milk, Eggs, Toilet paper. With us, it's Dr Pepper, Chips, Milk, Soy Milk, Eggs (because we were actually out and needed them), and Apples. Plus I wanted Beet Juice and Vegetarian Pot Pies too. Oh yes plus Bananas!
Saturday morning when we got up there was about 4 inches of snow! Sometimes a snowstorm is predicted and nothing happens but in this case yes we have snow.
Jan 7 - I ate this apple while playing in the snow! We played snowball fight, tried to build a snowman, dragged the dog around in the sled, went sledding, played with a bow and arrow.
Jan 8 - Today's apple has also been a snow apple. I ate part of it before walking down the very long drive to the road. I finished the rest back inside while warming up. And I shared it with the dog! He loves apples.
Both apples were Granny Green apples.
